Tahlee McVee Season 2022-23

2023 — Indoor – placed 10th in pentathlon at B1G Championships (3,767 points), which ranks seventh all-time at Iowa… won shot put at a part of B1G Championships pentathlon (42-4 1/2, 12.91m), and posted season bests in 60-meter hurdles (9.02), high jump (5-4 1/2, 1.64m), long jump (18-1 3/4, 5.53m) and 800 meters (2:41.50)… Outdoor – did not compete… Big Ten Distinguished Scholar… Academic All-Big Ten… Dean’s List student (Fall 2022, Spring 2023).

2022 — Indoor – competed in 60-meter hurdles (8.88) and long jump (18-6 1/2, 5.65m) at Jimmy Grant Invite… Dean’s List student (Fall 2021)… Outdoor – did not compete.

High School — 2016 Australian U13 bronze medalist and Australian U14 silver medalist in long jump, and Australian U14 champion in the triple jump… 2017 Australian U15 long jump and heptathlon champion, and bronze medalist in triple jump… 2018 Australian U15 and U16 heptathlon champion… 2020 Australian U18 heptathlon champion… coached by Lee Derby… set state record in U16 and U18 heptathlon, and U18 shot put… also played basketball and Australian football (State Academy)… received Academic Half Colour/Honors in 2018.
