High School — nine-time state meet qualifier (three times in long jump, three times as part of 1,600-meter relay, twice as part of distance medley relay and once as part of 800-meter relay)… placed third in long jump at state meet junior year and eighth as a sophomore… ran on 800 and 1,600-meter relays that placed fourth at state meet junior year… first team all-conference in 400 meters as a sophomore and long jump as a junior, earning second team all-conference honors in 400 meters and long jump as a freshman, long jump as a sophomore and 200 meters and 800-meter relay as a junior… placed second in long jump at Drake Relays (18-1, 5.51m) junior year… set school records in long jump mark (18-4 3/4), indoor triple jump (32-9 1/2), and as part of 800-meter (1:42.88) and 1,600-meter relays (3:54.70)… also competed in cross country, basketball, bowling and golf… graduation with academic distinction… National Honor Society member… coached by Emily Burmeister, Nathan Hopp and Joshua Handke.
