IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa women’s wrestling head coach Clarissa Chun announced the 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday. The Hawkeyes host three home duals in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The season culminates with the inaugural NCAA Women’s Wrestling National Championships at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa, on March 6-7.
SCHEDULE NOTES
- Iowa opens the season at the Luther Hill Open in Indianola, Iowa on Nov. 1 before hosting Central and Cornell in the All-Iowa Dual in Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Nov. 2.
- The Hawkeyes host three duals in Carver-Hawkeye Arena – Nov. 2 (Central/Cornell), Dec. 7 (Oklahoma State/Colorado Mesa), and Jan. 18 (Lehigh, Otterbein).
- Iowa will travel to Charleston, South Carolina, for the Throwdown on Yorktown on Nov. 15.
- The Hawkeyes look to defend their back-to-back National Duals titles on Jan. 9-10 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
- Xtream Arena plays host to the For Her Dual Tournament on Feb. 8.
- The postseason begins with the NCAA Regional Championships in Indianola, Iowa, on Feb. 21 and concludes at the NCAA Championships at Xtream Arena in Coralville, Iowa, on March 6-7.
Iowa returns two national champions (Kennedy Blades and Kylie Welker) and 11 All-Americans from last year’s National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championship (NCWWC) team. Iowa’s 11 returning 2025 All-Americans include: Ava Bayless, Blades, Sterling Dias, Jaycee Foeller, Brianna Gonzalez, Emilie Gonzalez, Reese Larramendy, Cali Leng, Rianne Murphy, Naomi Simon, and Welker.
The Hawkeyes welcome six freshmen to the roster: Libby Dix, Isabella Marie Gonzales, Harlee Hiller, Adriana Palumbo, Sam Sachs, and Bella Williams.
TICKET INFORMATION
Season tickets will go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 21 for previous ticket buyers, with the general public on sale following on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
Season tickets are $50 for adults and $35 for youth. Padded premium seats are available for $70. The season ticket package includes admission to:
- Three home duals at Carver-Hawkeye Arena
- The For Her Duals at Xtream Arena
Single-event tickets for the three matches at Carver-Hawkeye Arena are $15 for adults and $10 for youth.
