2005 – Third team all-Big Ten… played in and started all 57 games at shortstop… only Hawkeye to start every game… hit in the No. 3 spot of the order in all but one game… led the team with 20 stolen bases (20-of-25)… had a team-best 76 hits and 2225 at bats… led the team with 24 multi-hit games… went 4-of-5 with six RBIs against Toledo (Mar. 20) and was a double short of hitting for the cycle… had eight multi-RBI games… has a team-best 178 assists… hit .366 with runners in scoring position and .367 with two out… his two home runs came in back-to-back games (Mar. 12-13).

2004 – played in 41 games, starting 39… played 34 games at second base and seven at third… third on the team with a .305 batting average… hit a team-best .349 in conference play… hit .333 with runners on base and .408 with two outs… went 4-of-4 with a double and two runs scored against Minnesota (May 9)… hit .500 (6-of-12) in series against Michigan (Apr. 9-11)… went 8-15 with two doubles and three runs scored in series against Minnesota (May 7-9)… had a seven-game hitting streak in Big Ten play (May 7-15).
