2005 – one of only two players to play in all 57 games… started 53 games, 43 at third and 10 at first base… named co-Big Ten Player of the Week (Mar. 15) after hitting four home runs in three games against Rider and Toledo… went 3-of-4 with two home runs and three RBIs against Rider (Mar. 14)… went 3-of-5 with three RBIs and two doubles against Michigan (Apr. 8)… hit .467 as a firstbaseman, .216 as a thirdbaseman… Iowa has a 7-3 record with Cox starting at first…

2004 – played in 41 games, starting 33… went 2-of-3 with a triple and RBI in the season opener against Centenary (Feb. 27)… went 2-of-4 with a season-high three runs scored against Northwestern (May 1)… had four multi-hit games… hit .154 in Big Ten play.

2003 – started eight of 25 games played… started five of 15 conference games… collected a career-high three hits in five at bats, including two doubles, one run scored and one RBI in Iowa’s win over Long Island (3/17)… raised his batting average to a season-high .364 after batting three-for-four in two games at MSU… batted .300 with two RBI and one run scored in series split vs. Minnesota… slugged .379 and hit .276 in 15 Big Ten games.

2002 – appeared in 38 games, including 26 starts… hit first career home run in 14-1 victory over Western Illinois… went 2-for-3 with a run scored in 12-6 victory at Minnesota… recorded seven multiple-hit games… went 3-for-5 with two doubles against Bethune-Cookman.

High School – holds school record with seven outfield assists in one season… Desert Valley Region honorable mention, batting .348 with 21 RBI during senior season… led Horizon to back-to-back Desert Valley Region first place finishes as a junior and senior… Arizona Junior College Summer League all-star.
