2006 – One of three Hawkeyes to pitch and play the field… led the team with a .304 batting average and tied for the team lead with 17 multi-hit games… tied an Iowa record with five hits against Illinois (Apr. 23)… led the team with 22 stolen bases on 29 attempts… saw action in 53 games with 52 starts… started 40 games at second base, six at pitcher, six at designated hitter, four at third base and two in the outfield… opened the season with a 3-for-5, three RBI performance against Austin Peay State (Feb. 24)… hit a game-tying, two-out, three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth off Nebraska all-American closer Brett Jensen to stretch the No. 4 Cornhuskers to extra innings (Apr. 11)… hit .278 in Big Ten play… allowed one run in five-innings of work and earned the victory against IPFW (Mar. 26).

2005 – One of two Hawkeyes to pitch and play the field… played in 21 games, starting 13 in the field… also made 17 appearances on the hill, starting four… has a team-best .413 batting average… got first-career win against Penn State after allowing three hits in five innings (Apr. 23)… picked up game-winning, walk-off single against Minnesota (May 7)… had 10 RBIs in 46 at bats… went 2-for-2 as a pinch hitter in the Big Ten Tournament.

High School – First team elite all-state as a senior… two-time first team all district and all-conference… second team all-state as a junior… holds Xavier single-season records for home runs (10) and batting average (.510)… as a senior, posted a 10-2 record with a 0.45 ERA, while setting single-season record for strikeouts (130)… four-year member of the honor roll.
