#55 Jeremiah Pittman Season 2025-26

2025 Honors -- Academic All-Big Ten... Coaches Appreciation Award, defense... named to 2025 Player Council. 2025 -- Played in all 12 games... recorded one solo tackle in 34-7 season-opening win over UAlbany and his first career QB pressure in 41-3 win over Minnesota.

2024 Honors -- Coaches Appreciation Award, defense... Academic All-Big Ten. 2024 -- Played in all 13 games... has 17 tackles (nine solo, eight assists), including 1.5 tackles for a loss of three yards, and one pass break-up on the season... collected a career-high three tackles (two solo, one assist) in 38-21 win over Troy... matched a career-high three tackles (two solo, one assist) in 31-14 win at Minnesota... matched a career-high three tackles (one solo, two assists) in 13-10 win over Nebraska... recorded two tackles (one solo, one assist), including one tackle for a loss of one yard, in 42-10 win over Wisconsin... recorded two solo tackles as defense allowed just 189 yards in season-opening 40-0 shutout of Illinois State... collected two tackles (one solo, one assist) in 19-20 loss to Iowa State... recorded his first pass break-up in 40-16 win over Washington... tallied 0.5 tackles for a loss of two yards in 20-32 loss at Michigan State... letterwinner.

2023 Honors -- Academic All-Big Ten... Dean's List student (2024 spring). 2023 -- Played in 10 games... recorded one solo tackle and first career fumble recovery in 41-10 win over Western Michigan... had one solo tackle in season-opening 24-14 win over Utah State and in 26-16 win vs. Michigan State, and one assisted tackle in 20-13 win at Iowa State, in 31-0 loss at Penn State, and in 10-7 win at Northwestern... letterwinner... Iowa's Big Ten Post-Graduate Scholarship recipient.

 

 

 

2022 Honors -- Academic All-Big Ten. 2022 -- Saw action in three games… recorded a season-high two solo tackles in 27-0 win over Nevada for first career stats, including one tackle for loss… collected one solo tackle in 54-10 loss at Ohio State and one assisted tackle in 33-13 win over Northwestern.

2021 -- Redshirted… did not see any game action.

High School Honors -- Earned first-team all-state honors as a senior… named conference division Player of the Year as a senior… first-team all-conference and all-area as a senior and junior… academic all-state… four-year high Honor Roll student… National Honor Society member. Career -- Four-year varsity letterman as offensive and defensive lineman and fullback… started for varsity three straight years, as team reached 5A state playoffs freshman season… had 31 tackles, including eight tackles for loss and four sacks, as a junior… team captain as sophomore, junior and senior… also competed in track and field as sprinter and thrower, qualifying for state as a thrower.
