#84 Joseph Anderson Season 2026-27

2026 -- Collected a career-high two tackles (one solo, one assist), including a career-high 1.5 QB sacks for eight yards, in 40-0 season-opening shutout vs. Northern Illinois.

2025 Honors -- Academic All-Big Ten. 2025 -- Played in four games... recorded his first career solo tackle in 41-3 win over Minnesota.

2024 -- Did not see any game action.

 

 

High School Honors -- Earned first-team all-state, all-district and all-conference as a senior… recognized as third-team all-state as a junior… team captain as a senior. Career -- Four-year football letterman… led team to district championship and the state quarterfinals… credited with 30 tackles, including four sacks, and a fumble recovery as a sophomore… registered 52 tackles — nine for loss and six sacks — and a fumble recovery as a junior… amassed 76 tackles — 23 for loss and nine sack — as a senior… also earned four letters in track… four-time all-state jumper… led team to first track state championship in 2022.

Personal -- Born 2/22/2006… communication studies major… parents are Bennie and Salena Anderson… has three siblings… also enjoys cooking and constructing Legos… high school coaches were Butler Bynote (2020-22) and Cory Snyder (2023).
