#23 Landyn Van Kekerix Season 2023-24

2025 -- Played in all 11 games... collected a two solo tackles in 41-3 win over Minnesota and one assisted tackle in 21-26 loss at #17 USC.

2024 Honors -- Next Man In Award, special teams... 2024 -- Played in eight games... had five tackles (four solo, one assist) on the season... recorded two solo tackles in season-opening 40-0 shutout of Illinois State... collected one solo tackle in 29-13 win at Maryland and in 24-27 Music City Bowl loss to Missouri, and one assisted tackle in 42-10 win over Wisconsin... letterwinner.

High School Honors -- Named Iowa Class 3A Player of the Year as a senior… first-team all-state and all-district as a senior… second-team all-state and first-team all-district as a junior… Career -- Played both linebacker and wide receiver… helped prep team post 20-4 record over final two seasons, reaching state championship game as a senior and state semifinals as a junior… recorded 76 tackles and three sacks as a senior, along with 1,574 all-purpose yards and 36 total touchdowns… recorded 62 tackles as a junior, with 735 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns… 21 tackles as a sophomore… team captain as a senior… also competed in basketball and track as a prep… scored 26 points and added 10 rebounds in leading prep team to victory in Class 2A state basketball championship game as a senior… named to all-tournament team at state basketball tournament.
