Big Ten Preseason honoree... named to 2025 Player Council... 2025 -- Started at center all 11 games, marking his 48th career start... helped team tally 435 yards of total offense in 47-7 win over UMass... helped team rush for 200+ yards in four games (310 vs. UAlbany, which was the most in a season-opener since 2002, 201vs. UMass, 210 at Wisconsin and 245 vs. Penn State).

2023 Honors -- Third team All-Big Ten by league coaches and honorable mention All-Big ten by league coaches… Phil Steele third-team All-Big Ten… preseason fourth-team All-Big Ten by Athlon Sports… named to Rimington Trophy preseason Watch List… Hayden Fry “Extra Heartbeat” Award…one of six juniors named to Player Council… 2023 -- Started at center in 12 games, missing Missouri game due to injury… paved the way for 254 rushing yards in 41-10 over Western Michigan, which is the most since 2019… helped team tally 181 rushing yards in 20-14 win over Purdue… helped team to 200 rushing yards in 15-6 win at Wisconsin, which is the program’s most vs. the Badgers since 2008… letterwinner.

 

 

 

2022 Honors -- Next Man In Award, offense… 2022 -- Started all 13 games at center, playing every offensive down in 10 games… .oved from defensive line to offensive line and center position for spring practice… letterwinner.

2021 -- Missed majority of season due to injury… saw action in two games on defense, but had no statistics.

2020 Redshirted… did not see any game action.

High School Honors -- Earned first-team all-state honors as a senior, along with first-team all-district and all-city honors, while being named Lineman of the Year… named to first-team Elite all-state team as a junior… first-team all-district and all-city while being named Lineman of the Year… first-team all-district and all-city as a sophomore… honorable mention all-district as a freshman… Career -- Four-year football letterman as defensive end, defensive tackle, and offensive tackle… prep team reached state playoffs four straight seasons, reaching semifinals as a junior and senior… 21-3 record as a junior and senior… team captain as a senior… had 30 tackles as a senior, with 14 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks… had 52 tackles as a junior, with 22.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks… had 18.5 tackles as a sophomore, with 13 tackles for loss and five sacks… also lettered in track (4) and basketball (3)… won state title in shot put and discus as a junior.

Personal -- Born 10/19/2001… CLAS non-degree student… earned a bachelor’s degree in sport and recreation management with a focus on coaching and sport instruction… mother is Larae Jones… high school coaches were Just Kammrad and Jim Duggan.
