2024 (at EMU): Named MAC Freshman Indoor and Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year… Earned first team all-conference honors for both the indoor and outdoor season… Qualified for the NCAA East Prelims for the hammer throw… Won the USA T&F U20 Championships in the hammer throw, going on to place fourth in the world in the event at the U20 World Athletics Track & Field Championships in Lima, Peru… Indoor: Competed in eight meets with five first-place finishes in the weight throw… Earned a PR in the weight throw with a toss of 22.24m (73-0), the third-best mark in program history, finishing first at the MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships, Feb. 23-24… Outdoor: Competed in eight meets with four first-place finishes, including sweeping the hammer throw (62.33m), discus throw (PR – 47.03m), and shot put (PR – 15.30m) at the Chippewa Challenge, April 13… Set a personal-best for hammer throw with a throw of 66.74m (218-11), the second-best toss in EMU history at the 2024 Jim Click Shootout, April 5-6.
High School: Attended Springboro High School, where he earned four letters and served as a captain for one season on the Panther’s track and field team… Senior year stats: 223’ hammer throw, 74’ weight throw, 57’ shot put, 169’ discus… Holds all throwing school records… Captured the Illinois State Championship in the hammer and weight throw… Also earned a letter as a member of the football team.
