#21 Lindsey Major Season 2007-08

2008 as a Freshman… Played in 22 games with 12 starts at catcher… collected five hits, four RBI and two runs scored… pinch-hit double in the top of the seventh against Missouri in NCAA Regional championship game (May 18)… pinch-hit, two-RBI single in win over Wisconsin (April 19)… first career RBI came against Elon (March 14)… collected first career hit against Arkansas (Feb. 17).

High School… Four-time all-area and all-conference selection… all-state and super 60 all-tournament team pick as a senior… led her high school team to three-straight Illinois Class AA regional titles and a conference championship in 2007… played for the ASA affiliated Orland Park Sparks from 2000-07… led the 16U team to a ninth place finish at the 2004 national tournament and a seventh place finish at the 2005 tournament… lettered three times in volleyball and four times in basketball…scholar-athlete award recipient.
