Before Iowa… Two-time letterwinner in figure skating… gold medalist for U.S. Figure Skating as a junior… national competitor at the U.S. Figure Skating Synchronized Skating Championships… lettered in track and field in discus and shot put as a senior… honor roll member all four years of high school… graduated with honors… AP Scholar.

Personal… Born May 10, 1994… daughter of Tim and Ann Miksch… both parents are Iowa alums… engineering major… lists Vikki Dalquist, her skating coach for eight years, as the most influential person in her life.

Why Iowa… I chose Iowa because it was where I felt that I belonged. It was the perfect fit.
