Annette Allard Season 2008-09

2008-2009… Competed in all three fall events… qualified for finals at Southland Regatta in V8+, placing 10th… raced in 2V8+ in five of the six spring events… earned third and second place finish at the San Diego Crew Classic… finished second in both sessions of the Michigan Duals… claimed fifth place in the open 4+ finals of the Central/ South Regionals.

2007-2008… Competed in the championship eights at the Head of the Charles… member of the 2V8+ for each race in the spring season… posted a win over Kansas State at the Longhorn Invitational at the four seat… contributed to the Hawkeyes first place team finish with a win over George Washington in the George Washington Invitational… placed third in the Petite Finals at the Big Ten Championships… earned a first place finish in Final C at the South-Central Regionals… sat at the five seat for the final three regattas.

2006-2007… Novice member… member of the N8+ (B) at the Head of the Iowa… member of the N8+ in every spring race… helped Iowa to first place finishes at Longhorn Invite… member of N8+ that finished third and medaled in the Grand Final of the Big Ten Championships and earned Big Ten Boat of the Week.

Before Iowa… Four year varsity letterwinner in cross country and track… cross country state qualifier… 2006 regional champion… received the Sportsmanship award in 2004… district champion in high jump 2005 and 2006… finished fourth in state in high jump in 2006… tied high jump school record… 100 meter and 300 meter hurdle district champion in 2006… regional champion in 100 meter hurdles in 2006… team MVP in 2006… member of the National Honor Society.
