Caitlin Kuempel Season 2008-09

2010-11 — Competed in two fall events… posted a second place finish at the Head of the Iowa in the 1V8+… competed in all five spring events… posted two first place finishes at the Longhorn Invitational in the 2V8+… advanced to the petite final in the 2V8+ at the San Diego Crew Classic and placed second… claimed two second place finishes at the Big Ten Duals… competed in the 2V8 at the Big Ten Championships… named to the Academic All-Big Ten team… letterwinner.

2008-2009… Competed in two fall events… raced in 2V8+ in four spring events… claimed three first place finishes at the Longhorn Invitational… earned second and third place finishes at the San Diego Crew Classic… finished second in both sessions of the Michigan Duals… won the petite finals at the Big Ten Championships… also claimed second place finish in the petite finals of the Central/South Regionals.

2007-2008… Novice member… member of the N8+ for each race in the spring season… posted a win over Kansas State in the Longhorn Invitational… contributed to the Hawkeyes first place team finish at the George Washington Invitational with two wins against Navy… posted first place finishes against Indiana and Ohio State in the Big Ten Challenge… earned a first place finish in the Petite Final at the Big Ten Championships… placed fourth in the Petite Finals at the South-Central Regionals…stroked in the two seat each race this season.

Before Iowa… Varsity letterwinner in swimming and basketball… three-time swimming state qualifier… state basketball champs junior year… member of student council… National Honor Society member.
