Stacy Dettmann Season 2008-09

2007-2008…Competed in the women’s club eights that placed sixth at the Head of the Charles… raced with the varsity four in the four seat in all three races of the Longhorn Invitational… sat in the three seat for the 2V8+ in the George Washington Invitational and had a win against George Washington… stroked in the three seat for the Big Ten Challenge and at the Big Ten Championships… placed third in the Petite Final for the 2V8+ at the Big Ten Championships.

2006-2007… Member of varsity four during the fall season… placed 12th in the V4+ (B) at the Head of the Rock and 18th in the V4+ (B) at the Head of Iowa… stroked the 1V4 that placed second in the C final at the Central Regional Sprints… academic all-Big Ten selection.

2005-2006… Novice member… member of the 2N8+ at the Longhorn Invitational…member of the 2N8+ that placed first and defeated Ohio State in the Petite Finals at the Big Ten Championships.

Before Iowa… Competed four years in volleyball, basketball, and track…earned six varsity letters… member of National Honor Society…named to the academic honor roll throughout high school… member of band and girls’ chorus.

Personal… Born August 4, 1986… daughter of Dennis and Pauline Dettmann…psychology major.
