Alexa Meins Season 2011-12

2010-11… Competed in three spring events… posted two second place finishes in the 1V4+ at the Longhorn Invitational… claimed a first place finish at the Big Ten Duals in the 1V4+… competed in the 1V4+ at the Big Ten Championships.

2009-10 … Competed in two fall events… competed in the 1N8+ at the Longhorn Invitational… finished second in the petite finals of the 2V4+ at the Big Ten Championships… advanced to the petite finals at Central Regionals.

Before Iowa… Member of the Green Lake Crew from 2005-09… club coach was Coby Stites.

Personal… Born September 9, 1991… daughter of Mike and Lisa Meins… anthropology with global health studies major and spanish minor… lists her mother as the most influential person in her life.

Why Iowa… Iowa had everything I was looking for in a school and when I came to visit I just knew it was the place that I needed to be.
