2012-13… Named first team All-Big Ten… Competed in two fall events… placed second in the 1V8+ at the Head of the Des Moines… placed third in the 1V8+ at the Head of the Iowa…competed in all three spring events… Qualified for the 1V8+ petite finals and placed third at the San Diego Crew Classic… Placed second in the 1V8+ and helped team take home second place in the team standings at the Dale England Cup… Placed sixth in the 1V8+ and helped team place sixth in the final team standings at the Big Ten Championships… Named to the 2012-13 Dean’s List… letterwinner.
2010-11… Competed in all three fall events… qualified for the grand final in the 1V8+ at the Head of the Oklahoma… posted a second place in the 1V8+ at the Head of the Iowa… competed in all five spring events… posted two first place finishes at the Longhorn Invitational in the 1V8+… advanced to the petite final in the 1V8+ at the San Diego Crew Classic and placed third… claimed second place in the 1V8+ at the Big Ten Duals… competed in the 1V8+ at the Big Ten Championships… letterwinner.
2009-10… Competed in three fall events… placed first in the V8+ at the Head of the Iowa… claimed first place twice at the Longhorn Invitational… earned second place in the V8+ at the Pac-10 Challenge… placed third in the petite finals at Central Regionals… letterwinner.
2008-09… Received All-Central Region (CRCA) second team honors.Before Iowa… Member of the Milwaukee Rowing Club… club coaches were Mike Bailey, Alyssa Remington, Erin Stewart, Shea Featherson, and Peter Helfer… was invited to the Junior National Team Selection Camp in 2009… received All-Central Region (CRCA) second-team honors in 2010.
Personal… Born April 15, 1991… daughter of Nic and Jeni Schneider… leisure studies major with a therapeutic recreation track… lists her mom as the most influential person in her life.
Why Iowa… I felt at home on Iowa’s campus and the team was really welcoming. Even on my visit I felt as if I were already a member.
