Why Iowa… I have always been a Hawkeye fan growing, and when the chance to become a Division 1 athlete here came up I had to turn my dreams into a reality!
My favorite aspect of rowing is… The competition. Everything you do in rowing is competitive because you are always fighting for a spot in a top boat. I live for competition so rowing really satisfies that need I have to see how much better I can get each and every day.
What made you want to become a rower… I did not even know about the sport until my volleyball coach at NIACC told me I could have the chance to be an athlete at the University of Iowa. Right then I was ready to row!
