2017-18 — Appeared in one competition on the I V4 crew… placed sixth (17:46.917) at the Head of the Charles on October 22…also appeared in 11 competitions on the II V8 crew…fell to Cal (6:34.08), fell to Stanford (6:31.6), and defeated USC (6:35.8) at the PAC 12 Invite on March 31-April 1…defeated No. 18 Michigan State (6:36.1) on April 7…fell to No. 6 Michigan (6:28.3) on April 7…finished runner-up (6:21.0) against No. 6 Yale and No. 4 Princeton on April 14…placed third (7:04.42) at the Longhorn Invitational against Virginia, Texas, and Oregon State on April 28…placed third (6:30.463) at the Big Ten Championship on May 13…helped Iowa to second place (6:36.964) in the Heat 1 Prelim…sixth place (6:46.86) in the Heat 2 Semifinal…sixth place (6:41.92) in the Petite Final at the NCAA Championship on May 25-27.

2016-17 — Appeared in five competitions on the 2V4+ crew… helped Iowa to a seventh-place finish (7:33.49) at the Big Ten Championship on May 14… helped Iowa to a runner-up finish (7:25.80) against Princeton, Syracuse, and Penn on April 28… defeated Rutgers (8:01.00) in the morning session and finished runner-up (7:57.50) to Ohio State in the afternoon session of the Big Ten Double Dual on April 8… defeated Kansas (7:35.22) in the morning session and helped Iowa to a runner-up finish (7:45.99) against Louisville in the afternoon session of the Double Dual on April 1… won the first heat (7:11.24) against Duke, Oklahoma, and Central Florida and placed fourth (7:34.26) in the A Final at the Longhorn Invitational on March 25… placed 11th (14:07.51) on the V8 “B” crew and 18th (15:22.98) on the V4 “C” crew at the Jayhawk Jamboree on Oct. 23.

2015-16– Competed in four races with the 2N8+ crew… helped the 2N8+ crew to first places finishes at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual (7:37.1), in the afternoon session of the Big Ten Double Dual (7:16.70), and at the Big Ten/Big 12 Double Dual (7:40.599)… placed fourth at the Big Ten Championships (7:02.720)… helped the team finish fifth at the Big Ten Championships (95 points).

Before Iowa… made it to state golf… Dean’s list… A and B honor roll all four year of high school… young journalist award 2015… was in 4-H… yearbook- president senior year…

Personal… born June 24, 1997 in Davenport, Iowa… daughter of Loren and Nancy Schlapkohl… elementary education major…

Why Iowa… I choose the university of Iowa because I really liked the campus and all the different classes that I could choose from.

My favorite aspect of rowing is… Learning a new thing, making new friends, and challenging myself everyday.

What made you want to become a rower… Learned about rowing at orientation and joined the team.
