Hawk Item — transferred to Iowa before her junior season after two years at South Carolina.

Spring 2017 — won her only two singles matches in straight sets… posted an 8-5 doubles record… was 1-0 playing at the top doubles position… won a team-high six matches at No. 3 doubles, teaming with Aimee Tarun… missed the final month of the season with a torn ACL… letterwinner.

Fall 2016 — competed in the Kitty Harrison Invite.

Spring 2016 — went 2-2 in singles…paired with Aimee Tarun for every doubles match, going 10-3 in doubles…played final match of the season against Indiana.

Fall 2015 — competed in four tournaments her first season as a Hawkeye… 3-7 singles record… 5-8 doubles record… paired with Zoe Douglas throughout the season for a 3-3 doubles record.

Spring 2015 — played at South Carolina… was 1-2 in singles play at the No. 6 position. Fall 2014 — played at South Carolina… was 6-9 in singles play… 8-9 in doubles action.

Spring 2014 –played at South Carolina… was 2-2 in singles play, appearing once at the No. 1 position (0-1) and twice at No. 6 (2-1).

Fall 2013 — played at South Carolina… was 4-8 overall in singles and 2-8 overall in doubles.

Spring 2013 — joined South Carolina in January and redshirted.

High School — ranked in the top 100 in her national recruiting class… won the Kansas 5A state championship, becoming the first freshman in state history to win the 5A title… four-time team MVP… led St. Thomas Aquinas to its first ever team title… finisher her career ranked No. 2 in the Missouri Valley region… saw time as the No. 1 ranked doubles team on the junior circuit (Missouri Valley region).

Personal — born Dec. 17, 1993… parents are Patrick and Maria Looney… her father played tennis at the University of Missouri… has three siblings, Caroline, Monica, and Luke… broadcast journalism major.
