2025 -- Indoor - Ran collegiate bests in mile at Iowa Open (5:05.10) and 3,000 meters at Iowa State Classic (10:26.12)... Outdooor - Ran collegiate bests in 1,500 meters at Jim Duncan Invite (4:48.13), 3,000 meters at Musco Twilight (10:31.83), and 5,000 meters at Mike Fanelli Track Classic (18:24.89)... President’s List and Dean’s List student (Spring 2025)... letterwinner... Cross Country - Competed in all six races... ran collegiate bests in 4,000 meters at Hawkeye Invite (14:35.8) and 5,000 meters at Joe Piane Invite (18:39.3)... ran a season-best 22:00.0 in 6,000 meters at B1G Championships.

2024 -- Cross Country - Ran season bests in 4,000 meters at Hawkeye Invite (14:43.7) and 6,000 meters at B1G Preview (21:56.8)... Dean’s List student (Fall 2024)... letterwinner.

High School -- Three-time all-state in cross country, two-time in track and field… three-time team MVP in cross country… four-time all-conference and all-section in cross country and track and field… three-time conference champion in the 5K… two-time distance MVP in track and field… holds the cross country school record in the 5K (17:37.90)… two-time conference champion in the 1,600-meter race… conference champion in the 800 and 3,200-meter races… coached by Jessica Matheson, Anita Woodrow and Kyle Zygarlicke… also competed in Nordic skiing and was all-conference… AP scholar with Honors recipient… Bilingual Seal of Literacy in Spanish… earned the GPA Excellence award… Distinguished honor roll and academic letter recipient… member of the National Honor Society.

Personal -- Born August 22, 2006… parents are Shannon Long and Michael Long… has one sibling, Zachary, who competed in cross country and track and field at the University of North Dakota… human physiology major.
