Hawkeyes Collect 9 Titles at Hawkeye Invitational

IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa track and field concluded the Hawkeye Invitational on Saturday inside the Hawkeye Indoor Track Facility. The Hawkeyes claimed nine event titles on day two.

Johnson Sets School Record at Hawkeye Invitational

IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa track and field kicked off the Hawkeye Invitational at the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex on Friday afternoon. Sophomore Ryan Johnson set a program and facility record with a 24-meter throw that ranks first nationally in his debut.

Track and Field Notebook: Hawkeye Invitational

The Hawkeyes will begin the new year at home, hosting the Hawkeye Invitational on Friday and Saturday. Weight throw and shot put will take place on Friday, starting at 1:00pm inside the Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex and Saturday’s action will begin at 11:00am at the Hawkeye Indoor Track Facility.

Hawkeyes Collect B1G Weekly Honors

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa track and field received Big Ten Athlete of the Week honors, the conference announced on Wednesday. Pauline Bikembo, Sean Smith and Daniela Wamokpego each earned their respective awards following their performance at the Jimmy Grant Alumni Invitational.

Wamokpego Notches School Record at Jimmy Grant Invite

IOWA CITY, Iowa – University of Iowa track and field capped the weekend with another school record at the Jimmy Grant Invitational on Saturday night at the Hawkeye Indoor Track Facility. Returning All-American Daniela Wamokpego tallied a 13.32-meter mark in the triple jump, updating Iowa’s program record and tying the national lead.
