"We had some excellent performances today to conclude the Big Ten Championships, including several top times in program history and many lifetime bests," head coach Nathan Mundt said. "Overall, our team learned so much over the course of this competition. We will continue to improve and we are not done yet. We're excited to host NCAA Diving Zones in a couple of weeks and we're on the verge of qualifying for NCAA Championships in March."

Junior Leslie Wendel notched a personal-best 2:02.80 in the 200 butterfly. Sophomore Olivia Swalley raced 2:15.23 in the 200 breaststroke.

In the platform diving event, freshman Stephanie Avram scored 172.30 points.

The Hawkeyes concluded the night with a season-best 3:22.70 finish in the 400 freestyle relay. Dildine, Pedersen, Schimming and Hood posted the best time of the season for Iowa by over one second.
