At Southeastern CC (2017-2018) — Hit .309 with 32 RBIs, 46 runs, and three home runs as a sophomore… helped team to a conference title in 2018… had a .304 average with 10 doubles and three home runs as a freshman… also scored 36 runs and drove in 26 RBIs… was a first-team academic all-region honoree… coached by Justin Schulte.

High School — Two-time all-state honoree, earning first team accolades as a senior… hit .340 as a senior… helped guide Southeast Polk to back-to-back state titles in 2014 and 2015… member of Southeast Polk’s Wall of Fame… played club ball for the Altoona Curve (8U-12U) and Rams Baseball Club… was a 2016 All-Star in hockey, where he was a two-time team captain… academic letter honoree all four years… high school coach was Scott Belger.

Personal — Born Feb. 23, 1998, in Des Moines, Iowa… son of Steve and Kerri Martin… has two younger siblings, Evan and Owen… father played baseball at Iowa Central Community College… majoring in finance.
