High School Honors – First-team all-district as a senior… two-time all-state as a first baseman on the baseball team… academic all-state selection in 2022. Career — Four-time lettermen at Van Meter High School as an offensive and defensive lineman and long snapper… helped his team win state championships as a junior and senior, going a combined 25-1 over his final two seasons… also lettered in baseball (first base and outfield), basketball (forward) and track (thrower).
Personal — Born 10/14/2004… mechanical engineering major… parents are Luke and Tona Speltz… has two younger sisters and a younger brother… high school coach was Eric Trudo.
