Hawkeyes Fall To Iowa State

IOWA CITY, IA – The Iowa GymHawks held their first home meet of the season this evening, hosting Iowa State in the Breast Cancer Awareness Meet. Iowa State defeated the Hawkeyes, posting a score of 195.700 over Iowa’s 193.375.

Senior Liz Grajewski led the Hawkeyes in the all-around with a 38.600, for a third place finish behind Janet Anson and Erin Dethloff of Iowa State. Danielle Legeai scored a 9.8 on beam to tie for second with Iowa State’s Ashley Alden, while Beth Dilick tied for first on the bars with Cyclones Katie Lasher and Erin Dethloff. Kortny Williamson had the best showing on vault for the Hawkeyes, placing third with a 9.8.
