FAYETTEVILLE, AR – Athletes from the men’s and women’s squads competed in the 200-meter dash in day one of this weekend’s Razorback Invite, hosted by the University of Arkansas.

Junior Paul Chaney, Jr. (9th, 21.72) led the way for the Hawkeyes and earned a top-ten finish with a season-best performance. The dynamic young duo of freshmen sprinters Patrick Richards (14th, 21.89) and D’Juan Richardson (32nd, 22.34) were also showing prime form. Sophomore Chris Barton (51st, 22.67) also came out of day one action with a new collegiate-best time. On the women’s side, junior Rhonda-Kaye Trusty (17th, 24.90) led the Hawkeyes with a top-twenty finish, with sophomores Tiffany Hendricks (58th, 25.97) and Bethany Praska (60th, 26.00) being Iowa’s other two athletes in the event.
