2005 – Tied for the team-high with 13 starts… third on the team with 64 1/3 innings pitched… 3-2 in Big Ten play… allowed just five hits and struck out seven in eight-inning win over Minnesota (May 7)… threw five 1/3 innings of six-hit ball in win over Illinois (May 21)… allowed five hits in six innings in win over Penn State (Apr. 23).

2004 –Started 13 games on the hill for the Hawkeyes… second on the team with 67 1/3 innings pitched and 39 strikeouts… started eight Big Ten games, tied for the team lead… averaged 5.21 strikeouts per game… threw six shutout innings while striking out five against Maine (Mar. 14)… struck out a career-high seven against Northern Colorado (Mar. 26)… academic all-Big Ten.

2003 – appeared in four games, including two Big Ten contests… 5.06 ERA ranked second among Hawkeye hurlers… allowed one hit in two innings in Iowa’s 13-1 win over Southern Illinois… struck out the side in lone innings of work in Iowa’s 13-0 shutout of Long Island.

2002 – redshirted.

High School – first team all-metro as a junior, posting a 6-4 record on the mound with a 2.04 ERA and 51 strikeouts… first team all-conference utility player… named first team all-district pitcher senior season, struck out 68 batters while posting a 2.78 record… batted .308 with one homerun and 13 RBI during senior campaign.
