High School — Posted an 11-3 record with a 2.00 ERA over 65 innings as a sophomore… had seven complete games, five shutouts and two saves… posted a 2.77 ERA with 40 strikeouts in 44 innings as a junior… tossed a three-hit complete game shutout in regional play against Notre Dame… team was the 8A regional champion… missed his senior season following shoulder surgery… also was a letterwinner in football and basketball, serving as the basketball team captain… member of the honor roll sophomore through senior seasons… high school coach was Bill San Hamel.

Personal — Born May 5, 1994… son of Todd and Margie Richmond… father played football and baseball at the University of Missouri… has two sisters, Ellie and Grace… majoring in computer engineering.
