2020 — Season canceled by Big Ten Conference and NCAA on March 12 due to concerns of coronavirus (COVID-19)… did not see any game action.

High School — Two-time first-team all-state selection… three-time all-conference and all-district honoree… earned first-team all-conference and all-district honors as junior and senior… second-team all-conference and all-district as a sophomore… went 6-4 with a 0.67 ERA as a senior, 9-1 with a 0.65 ERA as a junior, 6-1 with a 0.74 ERA as a sophomore, and 3-2 with a 3.09 ERA as a freshman… tossed four career no-hitters… finished his high school career with a school-record 24 victories… held team to state semifinals as a junior and quarterfinals as a senior… two-time conference champion… also was a two-year football letterwinner and a three-year basketball and track and field letterwinner… earned second-team all-conference honors in track and field… member of the High Honor Roll… high school coach was Casey Bryant.

Personal — Born Nov. 16, 2000… son of Paul and Barbara Goodman… has two younger siblings, Maddie and J.T…. father, Paul, played baseball at NIACC and Northern Iowa… mother, Barbara, ran track and field/cross country at Northern Iowa… majoring in mechanical engineering.
