2005 – First team all-Big Ten… ABCA and Rawlings NCAA second team all-region… became first person in Big Ten history to lead the league in wins (7), saves (6), ERA (1.11), opposing batting average (.205), appearances (19), games in relief (19) and games finished (19) during conference play… two-time Big Ten Pitcher of the Week (Apr. 18 and May 10)… won both games of a doubleheader twice (vs. Indiana 4/16 and vs. Minnesota 5/7)… earned three saves in Iowa’s 3-1 series win at Michigan… earned a save or win in 13 of Iowa’s 19 Big Ten wins… began the season as the team’s No. 1 starter before moving back to the bullpen… allowed just four extra base hits and four earned runs in Big Ten play.

2004 – made a team-high 23 appearances on the mound… led the team with four saves… second on the team with a 3.89 ERA… opponents hit a team-low .258 off him… recorded the win in Iowa’s season opener with Centenary (Feb. 27)… struck out a season-high four in back-to-back appearances against Illinois State (Apr. 6) and Michigan (Apr. 9)… picked up all four saves in four consecutive appearances against Maine (Mar. 13), Stetson (Mar. 16), Dartmouth (Mar. 19) and Northern Illinois (Mar. 28)… second on the team with a 4.80 ERA in Big Ten play… team-best 12 appearances in the Big Ten… academic all-Big Ten.

2003 – Redshirted.

2002 – appeared in four games, throwing 10 2/3 innings… tallied 13 strikeouts in six innings in his first career appearance against Mt. St. Clare.

High School – first team all-conference honors as a junior and senior… WBCA’s honorable mention junior and senior seasons… undefeated in seven decisions with a 2.14 ERA and 37 strikeouts junior season… holds school record with seven wins in a season… school record 13 wins in a career… school record with 110 career strikeouts… threw a complete game no-hitter in 2000.
