High School – First team IHSBCA and second team Iowa Newspaper Association all-state selection as a senior… four-time first team all-conference and All-Record Herold team… three-time first team all-district… led Carlisle to an Iowa Class 2A State Championship as a junior, hitting two home runs in the state championship game… hit .433 with 10 home runs as a senior, .486 with eight home runs as a junior… qualified for the state track meet in the 4x100m relay.
