2016 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten honoree… voted one of four team captains. 2016 — Went 1-1 with a 2.63 ERA in 13 appearances… had 13 strikeouts to eight walks in 13 2/3 innings… tossed two perfect innings, fanning two, against Grand View (4/26)… recorded his first win against Illinois, tossing 1 2/3 shutout innings of one-hit ball… threw two shutout innings in relief at Dallas Baptist (2/21), allowing two hits and striking out two.

2015 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten honoree. 2015 — Went 2-1 with a 5.31 ERA in 19 appearances… was 2-for-3 in save opportunities… allowed 15 runs (12 earned) on 24 hits over 20 1/3 innings… had 16 strikeouts against 18 walks… posted a pair of wins against Cincinnati, allowing two hits in three innings with five strikeouts… notched his first save of the season, allowing one hit in 2/3 inning against Saint Louis (2/14)… needed two pitches to record save No. 2 in a 3-1 win over UALR… voted as one of four team captains by his peers.

2014 Honors — Academic All-Big Ten. 2014 — Went 2-2 with a 3.89 ERA in 23 relief appearances, striking out 38 in 37 innings… tied for the team lead with three saves… limited opposing hitters to a .246 batting average… gave up 17 runs (16 earned) over 37 innings… did not allow a run in 15-of-his-last-18 appearances, posting a 2.39 ERA over his last 26 1/3 innings since March 22… notched his third save, getting the final three outs in Iowa’s 2-1 win over Minnesota (5/22) at the Big Ten Tournament… struck out a pair in one inning against Michigan (5/23)… allowed one run on three hits in 2/3 inning at Purdue (5/17) — his first run allowed since April 15… picked up a win in each of his two appearances against South Dakota State (4/25-26), combining to strike out six and allow zero hits in 3 2/3 scoreless innings… got the final out against Minnesota (4/20) to earn his second save of the season… picked up his first career save against Kansas (4/8), pitching one inning and striking out one.

At Villanova (2013) — Went 1-1 with a 2.89 ERA in nine appearance, including four starts… allowed 11 runs (nine earned) over 28 innings, finishing with 19 strikeouts against 12 walks… limited opposing hitters to a .161 batting average… earned his first career win against NYIT, tossing six scoreless innings, allowing one hit and striking out five.

High School — Two-time all-conference pitcher as a junior and senior… went 9-1 with 66 strikeouts as a junior… had a 1.68 ERA over 50 innings with 15 walks… only loss came against Class 4A state champion Naperville Central in the state semifinals… played for Top Tier, leading the team to the CABA World Series title… earned two letters in baseball and one in football.
