At Kirkwood Community College (2017-2018) — Went 9-2 with a 3.93 ERA over 12 appearances, including four starts as a sophomore, helping team to the NJCAA World Series… had 79 strikeouts in 55 innings, issuing just 17 walks… averaged 12.93 strikeouts per nine innings… went 4-3 with a 3.38 ERA in 10 starts as a freshman, striking out 55 over 45 1/3 innings… started his collegiate career at Central College.
High School — All-state selection as a senior… two-time all-district and two-time all-conference honoree… went 5-1 with a 0.49 ERA as a senior, striking out 69 over 57 2/3 innings… limited hitters to a .146 average… was 4-4 with a 2.27 ERA as a junior, fanning 43 over 49 1/3 innings… held hitters to a .220 average… also was a two-time golf letterwinner… high school coach was Eddie Mauro.
