2005 – Second team all-Big Ten… played in 52 games, starting 48… started 30 games in left, 18 in center… had a team-best 19 game hitting streak… Iowa’s leadoff hitter in 37 games… the Hawkeyes were 21-16 with Price as the leadoff man… 15-of-17 in stolen bases… had 18 multi-hit games… got a hit in 42-of-48 games started… went 2-for-5 with a grand slam against Middle Tennessee State (Feb. 26)… went 2-of-6 with three stolen bases at Northwestern (May 1)… hit .351 in Big Ten play.
Before Iowa – played for Triton Junior College, where he hit .460 with 87 hits, nine doubles, four home runs and 62 RBIs… also stole 33 bases and scored 65 runs… tied with Baseball Hall of Famer Kirby Puckett for most triples in a season (8)…two-time all-conference pick.
High School – finished career with 15 home runs, second on the all-time list… three-time all-conference and all-city pick… hit .396 as a senior and .488 as a junior… all-conference selection in football… tied record for most interceptions in a season.
