Tate to Holloway Will Open Corridor Classic

April 25, 2005

IOWA CITY – Iowa Hawkeye quarterback Drew Tate will throw one more completion to receiver Warren Holloway. The duo will re-enact their famous Capital One Bowl-winning reception Tuesday night at the Corridor Classic. Tate will throw out the ceremonial first pitch to Holloway before the Hawkeyes take on Northern Iowa at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Cedar Rapids. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $8 for box seats and $5 for lawn and bleacher seating. A $20 “Mezzanine” ticket is also available and provides the bearer all-you-can-eat/drink in that premium seating area.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-800-IA-HAWKS or by visiting the UI Athletic Ticket Office in Caver-Hawkeye Arena. Tickets are also available at the Veterans Memorial Stadium Box Office or by calling (319) 896-7560.Northern Iowa posted an 8-5 win in last year’s inaugural Corridor Classic. That game attracted more than 2,000 fans.
